The Balmain Art & Craft Show kicks off with what has become the annual ‘must attend’ event on the peninsula!! Held on Friday, 7^th November 2008, 7.30pm to 11pm, the premier of the 2008 show is expected to attract over 600 guests through the doors of No. 2 Eaton Street. Set over the entire school campus, guests will be free to roam around and enjoy the night.

Join us for a fabulous evening where you can take advantage of the first opportunity to view and purchase from an impressive selection of contemporary art, sculpture and design pieces from local and international artists. You can also browse through The contemporary, The Vintage and Fiesta Rooms - three craft rooms stocked to the rafters with gorgeous Christmas present ideas for all ages. Plus don’t miss out on the chance to place a bid in the Silent Auction where you will find a wealth of items ranging from sports memorabilia to pamper packages.

Guests will enjoy a wonderful atmosphere with live music, contemporary culinary delights from our event partners aboutlife, and exceptional local and international beer and wines from one of Sydney’s finest pubs, The Welcome Hotel.

Meet the artists and learn about their pieces in a relaxed and informal setting to welcome in the event for 2008.  There is something for everyone, with a range of affordable pieces to the more collectors’ items. 

Opening night tickets are sold out as at 23 October 2008.
